keeps the world stocked with nutella

From Ünye in Ordu province all across Giresun province, hazelnuts form the backbone of the local economy. Whether one works on the hazelnut farms or simply harvests the nuts in his own yard, the whole community is involved it seems. Behind Giresun, lush green hills flowing with fresh water springs rise up. The city was established by Greek settlers from Sinop in the 6th century BC. Off the coast of Giresun lies Giresun Island. According to legend, the island was considered sacred by the Amazons who supposedly built a temple to Ares, the Greek god of war there. Temple ruins dating to ancient times indeed exist there which modern scholars believe was to the cult of the goddess Cybele.
