I wasn’t exactly sure where my friend was taking me. But I knew that this café was in the Taşbaşı neighborhood which is my favorite neighborhood in town. It is the oldest neighborhood in town and the streets are made of stone. I love walking and exploring in this neighborhood because you can see the history throughout.
Şavşat is the Black Sea coast's hidden paradise. Far away from Trabzon's lakeside Üzüngöl resort village or Rize's highlands town Ayder, Şavşat rests in tranquility in upper Artvin province. What Şavşat lacks in touristy foot-traffic, it more than makes up for in stunning mountain vistas, lush green pastures, and cool evening air.
When traveling one of the last things you want to do is pick a bad restaurant. You only have a limited number of opportunities to sample the local flavor, so answering the Where should we eat? question is a high priority. I went to Sinop to visit friends and they showed us around. Sinop is a port city on the Black Sea in Northern Turkey. It is the Northern most point in Turkey. Walking by the sea in Sinop and looking at the view of town made me feel like I was on an island. Sinop is actually a peninsula. Even though Sinop is a small town, it is a unique area with a lot to offer.
